I first did a piece for them on Lipstick Jungle , and now will be contributing once a week for them. It has been a little while since I have even seen or heard about Hilary Duff. As the young star lays below the radar, she is working on shedding her Disney image and moving into her own shell. Not to be left behind, Gwen Stefani has two fashion lines, L.A.M.B. and Harajuku Lovers. The L.A.M.B. fashion line is very well known for it’s trendy styles and fashion handbags. Harajuku Lovers is a less expensive line meant to appeal to Gwen’s fan base.

And then I figured why not showcase it as her last bag pre-DUI-car chase-cocaine carrying-assistant firing-arrest. In the last few days before her drama hit its pinnacle, Lindsay Lohan was sporting a Jimmy Choo Mahala Tote in electric blue. This tote is absolutely stunning, sporting contrast suede panels and gold hardware and two front zip fastenings. Net A Porter is offering the tote in aubergine, which is like amethyst or burgundy, is a stunning option for this fall/winter season. I must admit, I’m digging LiLo’s simple but classic look of a white button-down, aviators, denim shorts, and one gorgeous, gotta-have-it handbag. The hip, metallic snakeskin purse comes from designer Pauric Sweeney, and is dubbed the Overnight. (Hmmm, wonder where Lindsay had her sleepover?) Lindsay’s also been seen carrying the same purse in brown, so it’s clear that she’s a fan. Can’t say I blame her – that snakeskin is fierce!

The magenta is so delicious looking, feminine and perfect for the upcoming seasons all in one. This along with Bal’s Electric Blue are my two favs. And I especially adore the city as it holds a nice shape and the size is just perfect for carrying everything you need. What also appeals to me (though this is nothing new) is the wonderful shoulder strap. I love how you can carry it on your arm or throw it over your shoulder to be hands-free.

The City features amazing distressed leather, making each and every one unique, a detachable strap, and hardware that comes in either regular size or giant size. Also included is an attached mirror and featured on the inside and exterior are zippered pockets.

Lindsay Lohan Style: Dolce & Gabbana Coin-Purse Bowler

Late last week I asked for some help identifying Lindsay Lohan’s snakeskin handbag

You all are beyond amazing, and were able to identify her bag faster than the speed of light (literally). From the first photo I shared it was a little tricker, but from a better angle it is clear that LiLo has been seen sporting the Dolce & Gabbana Coin-Purse Bowler. This bag is designed with ayers-snakeskin and Lindsay has opted for the black/white diamond patchwork version. There are two pouch pockets on the front with a kiss lock closure. Also, the structured top handles with square rings give the bag a different look. Right now Neiman Marcus is offering the bag in natural ayers skin for pre-order for $3,995.

I am delighted that we have not seen *much* of Lindsay Lohan after her countless problems and rehab stint. Sure we saw here in Italy with many Italian men, and here and there in the clubs drinking some grape juice with a kick, but she has been laying low (all things considered). And again, Lindsay has opted for a handbag that is hard to identify but hard to miss. The black and white diamond shapes on the python skin bag jump out and catch your attention. What type of bag do you carry when you go grocery shopping? Check out Hayden Panettiere’s bag. Hayden shows off her bag of choice as she picks up stuff from a local grocery store. No it’s not her own HP bag made exclusively for her by Dooney & Bourke, instead, it’s her pretty metallic Kooba Elisha Bow Hobo. What do you all think about this Kooba? Would you wear it? As for me, I adore the metallic leather seen throughout the entire bag (metallics are so hot right now)! The slouchy-ness of this Kooba is acceptable in my book, (I imagine this hobo being so easy and comfortable to use). Comfy, flat, eight inch leather shoulder straps and double side pockets are two key details I definitely approve of. The knotted bow tie found right up front is a nice feature found on the Elisha, without it, this hobo would appear quite simple, i.m.o. The Kooba Elisha measures in at 14”x 12”x 6”, and holds a price tag of $535.
